Lupe terms of use

Updated 17 October 2026 · Operated by Pedrock LLC

These terms apply to the Lupe Chrome extension and this website. By installing or using Lupe, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Lupe.

The service

Lupe is a free desktop Chrome extension that shows asking-price observations recorded by its network beside supported residential listings on idealista.pt, idealista.com, and Encuentra24 pages for Panama and Costa Rica. No account or paid subscription is offered.

Lupe is independent of Idealista and Encuentra24. Their names identify the sites on which the extension works; they do not imply endorsement, partnership, or access to nonpublic data.

What the history means

A Lupe history begins when participating browsers first observe a listing. It may be incomplete or delayed, and contributed observations are not independently verified. Prices are asking prices shown in listings, not property valuations, agreed prices, or completed sale prices. A listing marked “New” was first recorded by Lupe recently; it may have been published earlier. Separate listing IDs are treated separately, even if they refer to the same property.

Lupe is an information tool. Do not rely on it as the only basis for a purchase, rental, or financial decision; check details with the listing site, the agent, or the seller.

Sharing and acceptable use

While sharing is on, the extension contributes public asking-price observations from pages you view, as described in the privacy policy. You can pause sharing at any time in the popup.

Do not tamper with the extension or its API to submit false prices, overload the service, or extract data in bulk. We may block requests that look abusive.

Availability and changes

Lupe depends on the supported sites' page structure, user observations, and a hosted API. Features may change, stop working on some pages, or become unavailable, and we may update or discontinue Lupe. If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date.

No warranty

Lupe is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no promise that its data is complete, accurate, or available at all times. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Third-party sites

Using Lupe does not change the terms of the listing sites you visit or grant rights to their content. You remain responsible for following those sites' terms.
